With my diploma in hand. Yesterday I walked the stage and got that wonderful piece of paper that says I'm a graduate. I was surrounded by family and friends an could not have felt more loved. Thank you to all who made it. I truly appreciate each and every one of you.
So yesterday, after graduation, we packed the cars, ate lunch, and left for good. I'll be back at some point. But for now, I will be home.
Last night as I started to get things settles in Bedford, it felt so surreal. This just feels like I'm home for Christmas break or that I'm moving into a new place in January. But this is for good.
No more goodbyes for Phillip and me. No more sappy missing him posts. Nope, those will be replaced by mire eventful scoop about both of us - instead of just about me. So. Get ready.
We are on our way to Christmas in east Texas now. Lunch and spending time with Phillip's extended family. Then it's back to Bedford for the night and wisdom teeth removal tomorrow.
