Last night was Christmas eve with the Longs and Blacks. They are so much fun. I had a great time and a delicious dinner. I am loving the family I’m entering into. They love me so much and want me to join them as much as I want to.
The gifts were great too! David and Betty (Phillip’s aunt and uncle) gave us each a gift card to Banana Republic. Can we say sophisticated shopping spree!? Ben and Amanda gave us the most beautiful embossed monogrammed stationary. Seeing a big “L” flanked by a “P” and “A” was pretty cool and real at the same time. Phillip’s parent got us our bedding set from Macys! I’m so excited about that! Not only do Phillip and I have excellent taste, but we also don’t have to worry about them going out of stock anymore. We got a welcome mat with an “L” on it. Phillip got golf clubs. And I am getting my passport from them as soon as I get the paperwork filled out. Hooray!
Tonight is Christmas with the Galloways. It’ll be nice to spend a whole day and evening with my parents. Delicious food, wonderful family, and hopefully some Christmas lights thrown in there.
