Today starts the craziness of full-fledged planning. Wedding stuff is most likely going to be consuming our lives – and my posts – until after June 11th. It’s almost here!!
Yesterday was a long day. Phillip and I ran a whole bunch of errands and went to a whole bunch of places. So what became of the whole day? Well, we found a place that will sell the paper for our invitations at a reasonable price so we can do them ourselves! We know this is a huge an tedious task, but we’re up for it. Making them ourselves will make them cost half as much. Plus, we’ll get to add even more personal touches. Cross your fingers we haven’t bitten off more than we can chew…
Last night we had margaritas and mexican food at Mexican Inn with my parents. Thus, yesterdays picture (posted today) is of my fabulous margarita. It was delicious. National Championship watching occurred afterwards. Not a good or exciting game to say the least. Oh well.
Then today Phillip and I got up to go buy the paper. Success! We haven’t bought all of the stuff because we wanted to make a prototype to make sure we love it before buying in bulk. That’s what we’ve been doing all day. We plan on ordering the materials by Friday. And, we are getting handmade paper for part of the invites. So fancy, huh? I’m too excited. These are going to be gorgeous and knowing that Phillip and I designed every detail by ourselves makes it that much more meaningful. Today’s picture is a hint at what the invites are going to have – aka an image of our custom paper. :)
5 months, 30 minutes!!!! HOORAY!!!
