Here

My wonderful fiancĂ© just walked in the door. He smells like his house, which is really comforting. I love how when we see each other, we just pick right back up where we left off. There’s no awkwardness or even any over-the-top sappy hello like in the movies. Nope. No nonsense. No drama. Just us. Plain and simple. I love us.

TODAY!

Phillip was supposed to come in town this Thursday to spend the whole weekend with me. I have been excited since I left him Monday morning. But then last night I got great news from him!! He somehow pulled him magic and worked it out to be able to drive down tonight - as in leaving in 45 minutes!!! Yay!!!

I'm so excited! I truly love spending so much time with him!

As a side note, I must say that I feel for Manda. She doesn't get to see her husband as often as she should be able to. Granted, he is doing a great job serving our country in the Army, but still. I remember back to the days of freshman year when Phillip and I were lucky to get to see each other once a month - and now it's hard to go even two weeks without each other!! She has to wait so much longer between visits. My heart goes out to her. It must be so lonely. I can't even imagine.

Do Wisdom Teeth Make You Wise?

If so, when you have them removed does it make you less wise? This is a very important question, as Heather got hers taken out this morning and I get mine taken out in December. Hm.

Totally kidding. Get real. I'm just kind of in a weird mood right now - exactly halfway between exhaustion and complete dilerium. Luckily work is slow so I finally have some down time. This down time will benefit me greatly in the coming 5 weeks since I'll be using it primarily for homework from this point forward.

I am so tired and ready for sleep. I will be asleep by 11 tonight. I have to be.

Nothing To Do

Okay, seriously, this being bored at work thing needs to stop. I have literally done nothing productive today. It's not because I don't want to, but because there is nothing to do. This is why I am updating for the second time today. I surfed facebook for a good while, have mapped out my tv schedule for the evening, and played around a little bit on the The Knot's website.

And I have decided that I am in a no-wedding mood right now. It happens from time to time when you've been engaged for a while with no end in sight. This weekend all we talked about was wedding stuff. It has made me exhausted. Therefore, I will be making a 2 week long hiatis before diving back into it with wedding dress shopping and spending time at the bridal show that same weekend. My brain is just getting tired of thinking of things and planning things. Enough is enough for the time being. But don't worry, I'll jump back into a wedding mood soon enough. I just need a break every now and then. Having a long engagement makes that possible. Thank you Phillip, again, for that. :)

Incredible Weekend

I had the BEST weekend! I got to spend so much time with Phillip and his family. Plus I had some great friend time thrown in there too. Last night was relaxing and I enjoyed catching up with old friends.

Today I woke up early to come back to work. I'm here and the office is so dead. I can hardly control my boredom and my eyelids keep trying to close on me. Any suggestions for what I can do in the mean time?

Heather gets her wisdom teeth out tomorrow morning. Wish her luck!

Oh, and question... why do I have to be so awkward?
