Today I feel awful. Kind of like I have half of the flu. No energy. Achy all over. Just feeling overall like crap. And it just so happens that we are in a steady cold rain event for the remainder of the morning, so the weather is pretty much matching my mood.
All of my plans for the day will include posting up in my bed and only leaving for the necessities. This is when having a queen bed is nice. I get to lay on half of it and my stuff gets tossed on the other half. Although, days like today make me wish we had a king bed. But that's a whole different blog entry.
Here's to hoping I feel better soon so I can be back to my chipper self. Likely this won't fully happen until I happily hit the "honeymoon stage" second trimester in a couple of weeks. Blegh.

Chugging Along at 10 Weeks
The nausea is finally starting to let up, although it isn't gone entirely at this point. And eating is still a chore. I'm finding breakfast is easy, dinner is sometimes easy, and lunch is pretty much a hassle. I try to snack from breakfast to dinner instead. And protein shakes are pretty much my best friend at this point.
In other news, Phillip is working away these days. He loves his job, but it's busy. Not a bad thing, I guess. But he's pretty much exhausted when he gets home every night. But weekends are the best. I love that time with him. How can I still be this in love with him? I can't even wrap my head around it.
We really need to find a realtor. Soon. We need to start looking at houses in-person instead of just searching online. There is so much out there in our price range and they are all beautiful homes. But I'm anxious to get this process started so we can have time to move from this house into our new place without stress. So hopefully we'll secure a realtor in the coming days and can start looking on the weekends. I would love to move in the middle of May. Phillip would prefer June. We'll see how it goes.

Important Developments: All organ systems are in place and some are even beginning to function. Fingers and toes are no longer webbed and the baby is moving like crazy (but I can't feel anything yet).
Noticeable Symptoms: I am definitely getting a bump. Back pain and headaches are coming. Clothes are fitting tighter, but I haven't grown out of them yet.

9 Weeks
I am cooking dinner as I write this post. Yes. Real dinner. Like the kind with a meat and a side. This will be the first time in ages. I actually feel up to it. Thank you miracle nausea meds!!!
Stats homework took all afternoon to do and I am exhausted. But it's done. Time to relax with the hubby the rest of the evening, enjoy our dinner, and finish up laundry. Sounds good to me.

Saturday Morning Ramblings
What a relaxing morning. I could get used to these. Taking it easy, finally finished with the winter rush, and Phillip is now home for the weekends. I've been sipping on my coffee and researching things online. Lots of things.
School has been going pretty well so far. I'm getting really into my "Cultural and Ethnic Factors that Influence Health Decision Making" class and really enjoy thebiased readings. I feel like I will do really well in that class and learn more than I did in the undergraduate version of the course.
My statistics course is pretty much over-my-head and extremely overwhelming right now. But I'm hoping if I just chug through and stay on track that it'll all click. It is not a standard statistics course. This is more of a hands-on database course with a computer program, input/output manipulation, and excel-on-steroids course. Intense. But I'm pushing onward.
Work is moving along as well. I'm still working with some scheduling conflicts a lot of schools are having and trying to get new schools on board. So it's busy but not as busy as I had hoped. Maybe that'll miraculously change next week?
We haven't started house hunting yet either. We need to if we're planning on moving in May/June. But we keep putting it off in favor of relaxing and spending our free time together. Must get a move on!!
So there's the non-pregnancy update I've been needing to churn out lately. Sorry for the segmented list-like post that seems to be all over the place. But this is what Saturday morning ramblings are all about.
