Tonight we started painting on two canvases. I found really cute ones at JcPenny that were selling for like $40 for the set. So, I did what I always do when wall art is too expensive – I went to Hobby Lobby and bought canvases for $7 and proceeded to make them with Phillip. We drew out the design and painted the base coats on tonight. Tomorrow we’ll do the artsy overlay and finish them up. Eventually they’ll hang in our future apartment.
We will have many many more nights of this in our future. It’s what we do when we’re bored and Hobby Lobby has their painting supplies on sale. You just want until we have our own house and every wall is covered in hand-painted art. I know, you’re jealous. Maybe we’ll make you some original paintings one day.
